ORPHANAGE IN KYIV OBLAST
We have been approached by the head of the orphanage, which is situated in the close proximity to the military base in Kyiv oblast. They need a bomb/missile shelter for their 60 children, 30 of which are less than one year old. The nearest shelter is at least 500 metres, which makes it unreal for them to evacuate all the children in a timely manner. Especially when we are talking about ballistic missiles.
WHAT WE HAVE ALREADY DONE
We have requested our Ukrainian partners to donate $4000, which is enough to secure the cargo container with concrete blocks. In two weeks, we have collected about $5000, so we are able to do some work inside and install the ventilations system there.
THE NECESSARY HELP
As for now, we are in the process of collecting 30 000 UAH (around $800) to construct a single-pitched roof structure.
