September 20, 2025
- During the night of September 20, Dnipro was struck by a large missile assault.
- Multiple explosions shook the city, severely damaging residential neighborhoods and public infrastructure.
- 7 people were killed, and over 20 were wounded.
- Around 40 residential buildings were destroyed or badly damaged, along with vehicles and energy facilities.

Southern Ukrainian Cities Under Attack
September 22–23
- Zaporizhzhia was hit by multiple russian missile strikes, including at least five aerial bombs on September 22 and six high-explosive bombs during the night of September 23.
- At least four people were killed, and two more were injured.
- Residential buildings and essential infrastructure suffered heavy damage, with several homes destroyed.
September 26
- Kherson was struck by a massive russian attack, including 15 aerial bombs and artillery targeting the city center.
- Buildings and public infrastructure suffered significant damage.
Ukraine Under Attack

- russia launched one of the largest overnight attacks since the start of the full-scale invasion.
- Around 500 drones and more than 40 missiles were fired across Ukraine.
- Over 20 impact sites were reported throughout Kyiv.
- Residential buildings, a hospital, and a kindergarten were damaged.
- Several fires broke out, and parts of apartment blocks collapsed.
- At least 4 people were killed, including a 12-year-old girl.
- More than 70 people were injured nationwide.
- Other cities affected include Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Odesa, where strikes have damaged schools, residential buildings, and industrial facilities.
Cardiology Institute, Kyiv
September 28, 2025
- A missile hit the Cardiology Institute in Kyiv during the massive overnight attack.
- A nurse and a patient were killed.
- The building sustained severe damage, with windows shattered and parts of the structure destroyed.
- Emergency crews worked for hours to rescue people trapped under debris.
- Annually, the institute performs over 6,000 heart surgeries, including more than 2,000 using cardiopulmonary bypass.
- It is a leading center for heart transplantation in Ukraine and has carried out over 40 such procedures since the start of the full-scale war.
Europe Under Drone Attacks – September 2025
- Throughout September, multiple European countries reported repeated drone incursions.
- In Denmark, drones were spotted near Copenhagen and Aalborg airports, forcing temporary closures, and near defense facilities including Karup Air Base.
- In Norway, drones appeared near Oslo Airport on September 22, prompting temporary closures.
- In Lithuania, three drones were detected near Vilnius Airport, raising concerns over aviation safety.
- EU defense ministers announced plans to build a “drone wall” along borders with russia and Ukraine to monitor and intercept violations.

As of September 27
The volume of grain and legume exports from Ukraine in the 2025/26 MY amounted to almost 6.17 mln tons (40% less than in the previous season).
- Wheat exports reached 4.3 mln tons (27% less than last year).
- Barley exports totaled 799 K tons (39% less than last year).
- No rye has been exported this season.
- Corn exports reached 907 K tons (three times less than last season).
- Flour exports totaled 14.5 K tons tons (24% less than last year).

As of September 26, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 30,423 K tons of grains and legumes from 7,213.8 K ha.
63% of sown areas have been harvested.
- Wheat: 22,525 K tons from 5,020 K ha.
- Barley: 5,330.3 K tons from 1,345.6 K ha.
- Peas: 626.6 K tons from 266 K ha.
- Corn: 964.2 K tons from 195.9 K ha.
- Other grains and legumes: 859.4 K tons from 308.7 K ha.
Planting

Ukrainian farmers have sown 1,600 K ha of winter crops in 2025.
Breakdown by crop:
- Winter wheat: 672 K ha
- Winter barley: 37.7 K ha
- Winter rye: 17.7 tK ha
