We only had four days in 2025 without drone shelling and missile attacks

  • 2025 will be remembered not only for the record number of air attacks, but also for large-scale terrorist attacks against civilians.
  • These are not isolated tragedies — this is systematic terror against the civilian population, spanning the entire country.

Attacks on Ports

December 18–20, 2025

Intensity of Russian attacks on Ukraine’s port infrastructure doubles in 2025 – Kuleba
  • Since the beginning of 2025, russia has carried out 90 combined strikes on Ukraine’s port infrastructure.
  • Enemy missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian ports were recorded virtually every day, as russia seeks to destroy logistics, complicate exports, and undermine global food security.
  • since the beginning of 2025, nearly 800 air raid alerts have sounded in the Odesa region alone, with their total duration exceeding 30 days.
  • russian attacks damaged vessels flying the flags of Slovakia and the Republic of Palau, as well as grain elevators and warehouses.

Export

  • Total Ukrainian exports of grains and legumes in the 2025/26 MY reached 15.4 mln tons, which is 6.4 mln tons, or 29% less than last season:
  • Wheat exports: 7.9 mln tons, down 1.9 mln tons, or 19% year-on-year.
  • Barley: 1.3 mln tons, 33% lower than at the same date last season.
  • Rye: 0.2 K tons, dozens of times lower than last year’s 10.8 K tons.
  • Corn: 5.96 mln tons, 1.6 times less than in the previous season.
  • Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 34.3 K tons, 9% lower than last year.

Sea Export

  • Over the first 11 months of 2025, the ports of Greater Odesa handled nearly 68 mln tons of cargo.
  • Danube ports processed over 8 mln tons, bringing the total to 76 mln tons.
  • In 2025, export volumes equaled the combined total for 2023–2024.

Harvesting

December 26, 2025

  • Ukraine completed the 2025 harvest.
  • Despite the full-scale war and challenging weather conditions, farmers harvested 57.6 mln tons of grains and 17.3 mln tons of oilseeds, totaling 74.9 mln tons.
  • After the completion of corn harvesting, total grain production is expected to reach around 60 mln tons.
  • The average grain yield in Ukraine in 2025 stood at 5.08 t/ha, only 14% lower than the EU average.
