Attacks on Ukraine
Ukrainian Air Force units shot down 4,043 aerial targets throughout March 2025.
Among the targets destroyed:
- 1 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile
- 25 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles
- 8 Kalibr cruise missiles
- 1 Iskander-K cruise missile
- 1 Kh-59/69 guided air-to-surface missile
- 2,328 Shahed-type kamikaze drones
- 805 reconnaissance drones
- 874 drones of other types
- Recently, russians attacked Dnipro, Sumy, Kharkiv.
- Shopping centers, high-rise buildings, medical facilities, and an offices have been damaged.
- People were killed.
Strikes on Energy Infrastructure
- Since March 19, russians haven’t targeted energy for nearly a week after the conversation between US President Donald Trump and the president of russia.
- However, russia has already violated the energy ceasefire by striking facilities in Kharkiv, Kherson and Poltava region.
Devastating Toll of Aggression
The total damage caused by russia’s military aggression against Ukraine since 2014 could amount to one trillion dollars.

According to the Kyiv School of Economics, indirect losses for Ukraine as of October 2024 were estimated at $1.164 trillion, with the services, trade, industry and construction sectors incurring the most significant losses in terms of revenue and value added.
Planting Season 2025
- This year, the area under spring wheat is expected to increase by 28% to 222.8 thsd ha.
- Spring planting in Ukraine 10.4% ahead of last year’s pace.
- As of March 28, 2025, farmers in all regions of Ukraine have sown 551.8 K ha of spring grain and legume crops:
Barley—315.5 K ha
Spring wheat – 79.8 K ha
Peas – 102.9 K ha
Oats – 50.7 K ha
Export
As of March 28, 2025, the export volume of grains and legumes from Ukraine in the 2024/25 MY amounted to 32.4 mln tons, which is 1.8 million tons or 5% less than the same period last season.
- Wheat exports this season have reached nearly 13 mln tons, which is 4% less than last year’s volumes.
- This means that 80% of the total wheat volume agreed upon in the grain memorandum (16.2 mln tons) has already been exported.
- Barley exports amounted to 2.2 mln tons, representing a 13% increase compared to the previous season.
- Rye exports amounted to 10.8 K tons (11 times more than last year’s volumes).
- Corn exports exceeded 16.7 mln tons, marking a 9% decrease compared to shipments on the same date last season.
- Flour exports amounted to 53.1 K tons, which is 32% less than last year’s figure.
- In January-February 2025, Ukraine exported over 20,000 tons of eggs, twice as much as in the same period of 2024.
- In monetary terms, exports increased 2.1 times, reaching $23 million.
- The largest buyers of Ukrainian eggs were Croatia (22.4%), Italy (11.5%), and Poland (11%).
