Murder of children

April 4, 2025

  • On the evening of 4 April, russian troops launched a ballistic missile strike on a residential area of Kryvyi Rih.
  • Killed 20 people. Over 60 others were injured.

  • Radyslav, 7 years old
  • Herman, 9 years old
  • Alina, 15 years old
  • Danylo, 15 years old

Attack on Kyiv

April 6, 2025

  • On the night of April 6, russia carried out another massive attack on Ukraine: ballistic missiles targeted Kyiv, and attack drones struck the surrounding region.
  • Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Cherkasy regions were also hit. There are reports of casualties and injuries.
  • Just during a week, they have launched over 1,460 guided aerial bombs, nearly 670 attack drones, and more than 30 missiles of various types against Ukrainian cities, towns, and civilians.

  • Today, Ukraine is one of the most landmine-contaminated countries in the world.
  • Approximately 139,000 km (23% of Ukraine’s total area) is potentially dangerous and requires clearance by deminers.
  • Since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, 336 people have been killed by explosive devices, including 18 children. 825 people have been injured, 92 of whom are children.

As of April 11, 2025, 1,058.6 K ha of spring grain and leguminous crops were sown.

  • barley — 612.2 K ha;
  • peas — 182.8 K ha;
  • wheat — 141.1 K ha;
  • oats — 106.1 K ha;
  • corn — 0.02 K ha;
  • sunflower — 51.5 K ha;
  • sugar beets — 76 K ha;
  • soybeans — 4.5 K ha.

Grain from Ukraine

  • As of the end of March 2025, Ukraine has sent more than 280 K tons of food to countries facing an acute food crisis as part of the Grain from Ukraine initiative.
  • March 10: ship carrying 415.9 tons of vegetable oil arrived in Mozambique.
  • March 7: 553 tons of wheat flour were delivered to Palestine.
  • A critical delivery of 4.4 K tons of wheat flour to Syria was completed at the end of February.
  • In total, more than 280 K tons of food have been delivered since the program began.
  • 15 countries received food aid within the initiative: Djibouti, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritania, Mozambique, Nigeria, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Yemen and Zambia.

    Export
  • The volume of grain and leguminous crops exports from Ukraine in the 2024/25 MY as of April 11 amounted to 33.8 mln tons (which is 3.3 million tons, or 9% less than for the same period last season).
  • Wheat exports amounted to almost 13.4 mln tons, which is 8% less than last year’s volumes.
  • Thus, 83% of the total wheat volume agreed in the grain memorandum (16.2 mln tons) was exported.
  • Barley exports to foreign markets amounted to 24 mln tons, which is 6% more than the same period last season.
  • 8 K tons of rye were shipped, which is 11 times more than last season (1 thousand tons).
  • More than 7 mln tons of corn were exported, which is 12% less than shipments on the same date last season.
  • Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 2 K tons, which is 33% less than last year’s figure.
