Agricultural and Rural Ukraine
Current War Situation in Ukraine
WRRU Achievements
The world is tired of the war, leading to a decrease in donations. We remain dedicated to supporting Ukrainian farmers through educational initiatives. We are committed to assisting those who have suffered the most from the hostilities in Ukraine. Therefore, every event we organize not only aims to educate but also carries a social mission to aid those affected by the conflict.
Free access to all materials (10-15% of all participants):

PHILANTHROPIC INITIATIVE OF THE PROJECT
- One of the goals of the event was to raise funds for the restoration of the storage facilities belonging to farmer Oleksandr Donchenko, a 36-year-old farmer from Velyka Oleksandrivka (Kherson oblast)
- The farm was under occupation.
- He runs a farm with his wife Iryna and two children.
- The war has seriously affected his farm: the fields are partially mined, and part of the livestock was stolen or killed.
Oleksandr’s main need now is to reconstruct the storage facility damaged by the shelling, especially its roof and facade, which will help him run his farm more efficiently.
Andrii Matvijenko
Andrii Matvijenko’s Fight for Rebuilding
- The Matvienko family’s world was shattered on September 9th, 2022, when a russian tank unleashed havoc in their yard in Izium village, Kharkiv oblast. The catastrophic event destroyed their barn, equipment, garage, two houses, and claimed the lives of their livestock. Now, Andrii, reliant on the meager income from milk sales, faces the harsh reality of insufficient funds for reconstruction.
- WRRU’s goal is to rebuild their home, providing shelter.
We have purchased a tractor to enable them to continue their farming operations.
