Stolen Ukrainian grain
November 3, 2023
Pre-planned starvation
International experts and lawyers have collected evidence that shows that even before the full-scale invasion, russia began preparations for the Holodomor (artificial starvation) in Ukraine:
- After crossing the border on the 24th of February 2022, initially, russians targeted grain-rich areas and food production infrastructure.
- In December, 2021, russia started purchasing trucks to transport grain, as well as three new 170-metre bulk carrier cargo ships.
- Less than in a week of invasion, russia took under control Ukrainian farms in the occupied territories and began stealing the produce. One day, they exported 12,000 tons of grain from across occupied territories.
- The value of grain stolen from Ukraine is estimated at $1 billion per year.
- Numerous private Ukrainian grain companies were forcibly incorporated into the russian state operator.

AGRITECHNICA-2023
- We organized the visit of Ukrainian farmers to most awaited fair in Europe – Agritechnica (Hanover).
- The farmer from previously occupied territory in Kyiv oblast, Ivan Melnyk, was able to visit the event for free because of our WRRU project.
- Moreover, the journalist, who is going to tell about our project, joined the group as well.
- It was really useful and informative for our farmers, which will help our agri sector to develop even in such complicated conditions.
