  • russian forces conducted offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, near Bakhmut, near Avdiivka, west and southwest of Donetsk City, in the western Donetsk-eastern Zaporizhia oblast border area, and in western Zaporizhia oblast and advanced in some areas.

Massive attack on Kharkiv оblast

5 fires broke out

  • Approximately at midnight, the russian forces launched a massive attack on Kharkiv oblast and the city itself.
  • Administrative building, sewing shop building, service station, garages, eight cars and a residential building were under fire.

Harm to water resources

  • The war has left 6 million Ukrainians without access or with limited access to quality water.
  • The occupiers have destroyed hundreds of technical facilities used for water purification and transportation.
  • The concentration of harmful substances in many natural water sources exceeds the norm many times over.

Export

  • October, 4.8 mln tons of agricultural products were exported, which is 15% higher than in September:

52% grain crops;

19% oil crops;

10% vegetable oils.

  • Since the beginning of 2023 marketing year, the export of grain amounted to 9.48 mln tons, decreasing by 32% compared to the same period last year

Temporary sea corridor:

 

  • Since September 16, the export of agricultural products through the temporary sea corridor amounted to almost 700 th tons.
  • At least 42 vessels with a total deadweight of 1.7 mln tons have already arrived at the ports of Great Odesa.
  • At least, 23 ships left the port.
  • 2.3 mln tons of agricultural products were shipped through the Danube ports.


May 1 – October 24: 11.15 mln tons of Ukrainian agricultural products transited through Romania:

  • wheat – 4,7 mln tons
  • corn – 3,4 mln tons
  • sunflower oil – 1,6 mln tons
  • rapeseed – 1,2 mln tons
  • sunflower – 80,6 th tons
  • wheat flour – 13,2 th tons

Planting season

Five regions of Ukraine have finished planting of winter crops

As of November 6, 2023

85% of projected fields have been already planted

5. 530 mln hectares of winter crops have been planted in Ukraine:

    • wheat — 3, 867 thousand ha;
    • barley — 442 thousand ha;
    • rye – 76 thousand ha.

Harvesting

Agricultural producers of Ukraine harvested more than 67 mln tons:

  • grain crops — 47,184.1 K tons;
  • oil crops — 19,958 K tons.
