UKRAINE AND ISRAEL

  • Ukraine regularly repels attacks like the Iranian one.
  • Iran launched 180 aerial targets at Israel during the
  • October 1 attack. During the
    previous attack, in April, 320 targets.
  • Ukraine repels attacks of this scale almost every month or more often.

ATTACKS ON UKRAINE

  • In September, the russians launched an average of 44 attack UAVs a day into Ukraine. A total of 1331 UAVs were launched.
  • September was the only month during the full-scale war when russians launched drones every day.
  • russia has launched 119 Kinzhal missiles at Ukraine, 28 of which have been shot down.
  • Most of the objects hit by the Kinzhals are civilian: 68 civilian versus 15 military
    (latest available data, there may be more).

ATTACKS ON THE SHIP

  • On the night of October 5-6, Russia attacked a merchant ship in the port of Pivdenny.
  • A ballistic missile hit the open hold of the ship PARESA loaded with corn.
  • About 6,000 tons of Ukrainian corn were on board, which was supposed to go to Italy the very next morning.
  • None of the 15 crew members, citizens of Egypt and Syria, were injured.

ODESSA

October 11

  • In the morning, the russian occupiers attacked the port and border infrastructure in the Izmail district of the Odesa region.
  • Two truck drivers were injured, one of whom is a citizen of Turkey.
  • They also struck the Ukrainian port city of Odessa with ballistic missiles overnight for the second straight day.
  • 4 people killed, including a 16-year-old girl, and injuring at least 10 other civilians.

HARVESTING

October, 2024

56.6 mln tons of new crop were threshed in Ukraine:

  • 37.3 mln tons of grain crops;
  • 15.8 mln tons of oil crops;
  • 3.5 mln tons of sugar beet.
    The average yield of sunflowers in Ukraine is 2.05 t/ha, corn — 5.16 t/ha,
    soybean — 2.17 t/ha.

PLANTING

 

As of October 7 – 3.8 mln ha of winter crops have already been sown.
In particular:

  • wheat — 2.6 mln ha;
  • barley — 208.7 K ha;
  • rye — 45.9 K ha.

EXPORT

 

October 11 – volume of exports of grain and leguminous crops from Ukraine in 2024/25 MR amounted to 11.74 mln tons, which is 58% more than in the same period last season.

  • wheat – 6.8 mln tons, 81% more than last year. Thus, 42% of wheat from the
    total amount agreed in the grain memorandum (16.2 mln tons) was exported.
  • barley – 1.6 mln tons, 2.4 times more than last year.
  • rye – 10.5 K tons, 13 times more than last season.
  • corn – 3.1 mln tons, 8% more than last season.
  • flour – 21.2 K tons, 45% less than last.


  • Since September 2023, the ports of Great Odesa have already shipped 75 mln tons of cargo through the temporary Ukrainian sea corridor.
  • 50.1 mln tons – agricultural products.
  • Ukrainian products were exported to 50 countries, including Africa, Asia, Europe, and America.
