Private Farmers Support Family Farms

Mykhailo Kompanets,  the owner of Brusylivski Kovbasy LLC, donated three refrigerators for milk and dairy products for the WRRU (World to Rebuild Rural Ukraine) aid recipients. On August 15, project coordinator Dmytro Kalytka visited Iryna and her 19-year-old daughter, one of the families that suffered from the war, who live in Zagaltsi village, Kyiv region. During March 7-30, terrible battles took place in and around the village. On March 15, 2022, the rocket directly hit their barn, destroying it as well as summer kitchen and storage room. The blast broke the windows of the house and shattered the walls. Two pigs and chickens died. Cows (8) and calves (4) ran to the field, where they are today. The main income of the family is the sale of dairy products. Therefore, one of the refrigerators was given to Irina to store her dairy products. The family is very grateful and happy to receive the much-needed help. The report is in the photo below.

Important: This family needs to rebuild the barn for cattle and the summer kitchen where Iryna can do household chores as well as process and store products for sale: milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, etc. If you are willing to help, please contact us or follow the link: https://www.wrru.org/#donate
